The S-KARP Ascent mountain boots are wear-resistant, made of hydrophobic natural leather (1.8 – 2.0 mm), glossy/matte and Cordura textile. The technical leather protection (matrix) at the toe increases their resistance, making them suitable for rocky terrain or descents on scree. The VIBRAM sole has a medium stiffness that ensures comfort and stability in rough areas, absorbs shocks and thus provides excellent comfort to the foot.

 The interior is lined with Event/Sympatex, a non-porous membrane that is highly resistant to water, dirt and impurities. This ensures optimal breathability in all weather conditions. The tongue of the boot is made of Cordura, a highly tear-resistant textile material that firmly secures the foot, providing stability and comfort. The Cordura material is also present on the upper part of the ankle.
